L'Artisan Parfumeur achieve a 23.9% increase in revenue through product page optimisation

The Challenge

L’Artisan Parfumeur, a luxury fragrance brand, was looking to optimise their online customer experience and turned to RedEye’s specialist Conversion Rate Optimisation team for help.

They needed to find a way to ensure their customer could easily identify and add products to their basket, taking the crucial next step on the buying journey.

The Solution

To facilitate the consumer’s journey through the product listing page, a variation was created that clearly included the price and an ‘Add to bag’ CTA. This clear labelling allowed customers to quickly see what products were within their budget.

Secondly, the layout of the page was radically changed, along with the addition of a ‘quick view’ functionality. This meant that customers were able to identify products and get the required information needed to make a purchase decision with far greater ease.

The Results

The newly designed variation generated impressive results. The overall conversion rate seen on the website increased by a massive 25.7%, showing how making key changes at the start of the customer journey can help to drive them through each stage of the funnel. Besides the overall conversion, the greatest increase in conversion through the funnel occurred on the ‘address’ to ‘delivery’ step at 20.7%. This shows that driving more customers to the delivery stage is likely to lead to an increase in overall conversion.

When compared with the control, total revenue increased by 23.9% and purchases increased by 25.67%. The results showed an increase in the average order value (AOV) through the ease for consumers of adding products to their basket.
